INTRODUCTION
22nd December's Mad Friday Christmas Party event takes place at Keighley's historic yet legendary Victoria Hall presented by a local outfit Sound Events with it's indie alternative DJ's Afterparty organised by Feeling who're currently based at Leeds club Wire, readying for some exciting 2024 dates.

Headlining the Sound Events live music stage are Liverpudlian legends Space fronted by thee Tommy Scott, mainly known for the following phenomenal chart hits 'Female Of The Species', 'Neighbourhood', 'Me and You Verses The World' & 'Ballad Of Tom Jones' with Cerys Mathews on collaboration, Tom Jones has also been known to hit the Top Of The Pops stage with these cool scouser's. Come check out just what all the unmissable fuss is about, with the Space 25th Anniversary mid tour Vic Hall, Mad Friday Christmas Party gig, essentially a rarity for a small town like Keighley plus the talent oozing from this particular line up of musicians is seriously second to none.
So it's only apparent that this show was a no brainer yet real honour to set up & have a serious, not to be missed class act in town, most probably the town's highlight of the decade so far. Handpicking Space for performing Sound Events launch party Christmas bill of outstanding bands was in fact a genius idea especially when they'll be arriving fully armed with their superb yet accomplished song writing abilities which was spent as an early career topping the charts, this mustn't be missed live act is now Vic Hall's Christmas cracker class act.

Main support from York lads the one & only Skylights a proper lads band, ten years plus in the making & are currently now taking the UK by storm making waves everywhere, having recently performed to sell out crowds of a thousand plus over the past few weeks at Leeds Beckett Uni, Aberdeen Beech Ballroom in Scotland & again in nine weeks at Vic Hall for Mad Friday's Christmas Party.
Skylights carry the strongest Leeds following since the heyday of Bridewell Taxis strutting a style throughout the UK scene. Tracks Skylights are mostly recognised for are 'Enemies', 'YRA' & 'Rebellion'. Sound Events were overjoyed at the news they had finally pinned down such an high demand band to play their Keighley stage, given they're constantly peaking to new heights almost daily. Simply a must see!!
London based The Utopiates have got to be one of the hardest working bands pushing on through the UK music scene, so the past eighteen months have shown, selling out headline shows at the globally sought Leeds venue The Brudenell Social Club & their forthcoming Belgrave Leeds gig. The Utopiates are currently performing on The Pigeon Detectives tour dates, ensuring 2023 is giving them a foothold to keep on smashing it up & down the country.
Why they're not signed yet shocks many. With power driven vocals meeting a melodic upbeat sound, owning it's catchy diverse style complete & ready for the mainstream. 'The Sun Also Rises' album leaves oneself with an afterthought, it's only a matter of time now before The Utopiates are hitting BBC airwaves & TV, 'Love Pill' the latest single is lined up for making that happen. Catching them live is a Christmas treat not to be missed with a guaranteed Utopian delivery of euphoric awe.

The prestigious Victoria Hall venue has over the years pulled onto it's theatre stage, artiste in the shape of Paul Weller, Salt & Pepper, The Animals plus Ocean Colour Scene to name but a few. Since undergoing a fresh plush refurbishment there's grace back under it's roof with a new management team, pumping the life back into what's an historic piece of West Yorkshire heritage.

So that's where 'Sound Events' come in, covering billed bands, Beat Herder's sound & light equipment/crew, a visual photography team ensuring impressive backdrop logo projectors to display are also covered. Event stage & floor management with additional staff co-ordinators for handling artiste who'll be officially greeted, showing them to their individual dressing rooms & the VIP area etc.
On top of that Clubaholic.TV film crew, up from their big corporate events in London, prioritising 'Sound Events' & a 'Feeling' Afterparty with their unique services capturing captivating footage on the night. Also in advance they'll provide film & edit once the on location artiste interviews have taken place at Vic Hall, shooting prior to 'Sound's' press & radio promotional campaign release across the region. Basically making sure all I's & T's are completely crossed for pulling off this top quality events launch.
Matching all that, the physical promo will be a no expense spared campaign too, with QR Codes attached out on posters, lamp post stickers, floor vinyl's, flyers accompanied by sizeable road side banners proving these shows are to take Keighley to it's next level, on it's own merit part of a wider proud music scene. Ie: Beat Herder's founding team members also pump that same creative gene Keighley continues to showcase. So watch this (pardon the pun) 'Space!!' Expect doors to commence from 8pm (20:00) opening until 4am (04:00) close.
